From First Design File to Full-Scale Production
AG Precision's end-to-end development capability is real and operational - backed by an 11-stage NPD process, in-house tooling infrastructure, and full IP protection throughout.
For OEMs, the highest risk in a new component program is not only manufacturing. It is the handover between design, tooling, trials, validation, assembly, quality, and scale-up. AG Precision is built to reduce that risk by keeping the development and industrialization pathway inside one integrated platform.
11-Stage New Product Development Process
Idea Screening
Concept review and business-case assessment. Feasibility, fit with platform capability, and commercial viability evaluated before development resources are committed.
Design Development
3D product design, material selection, and manufacturability review. Siemens NX, PTC Creo, and AutoCAD. DFM and DFP applied at this stage.
Rapid Prototyping
Fit-form evaluation, customer review, and functional iteration using FDM (Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo) and SLA resin (Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra) prototyping systems.
Component Design Review
Technical review of geometry, tolerances, fitment, wall thickness, and assembly compatibility. Cross-functional sign-off required before tooling begins.
Mold Design Review
Tool design, parting line, gate placement, runner system, and cooling circuit review. CAM programming via Delcam PowerMILL 2024.
FMEA
Failure mode and effects analysis covering both design and process risk. Risk-priority numbers assigned. Corrective actions documented and tracked.
Mold Qualification
Trial runs, dimensional inspection using ATQ EX300 vision measuring machine, and process parameter setting on the target machine platform.
Process Validation
Documented validation runs against defined quality parameters. Process window established, recorded, and locked before qualification.
Quality Standard Sign-Off
Internal sign-off against defined inspection standards and release criteria. COA format established. Traceability fields mapped.
Customer Approval
Customer review of samples, dimensional reports, and process documentation. Technical sign-off and commercial approval received before scale-up begins.
Technical Transfer
Full handover to manufacturing with process documentation, traceability setup, mold condition report, and QC plan.

Protecting Your Designs
Customer-critical product development, tooling, process know-how, prototypes, and validation data remain within AG Precision’s controlled operating environment. The in-house Innovation Center, Tool Room, NPD Governance, and Technical Handover process reduces external dependency and limits third-party exposure during sensitive development programs.
